In this meeting, the active role of universities in compiling documents related to maritime development, holding a meeting with the minister and deputy ministers of the Ministry of Defense, paying attention to the development of cooperation and interactions at the national and international level, updating the database of the country's maritime experts, publishing an international publication was proposed by the participants. Also, the cooperation of universities in exploiting the Persian Gulf probe was suggested by the attendees, and the continuation of the actions of universities in line with sea-oriented development policies, including the attention and focus of universities on regional advantages, especially the sustainable exploitation of the sea in coastal provinces were mentioned. In this meeting starting new fields or updating the curriculum, holding scientific conferences such as sea-oriented development conferences, history and civilization of the Persian Gulf, high-speed vessels, and water economy were explained. Furthermore, with the presence of the heads and representatives of the following Institute and universities: the National Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences and Marine Sciences, Technologies of Khorramshahr, Persian Gulf, Mazandaran, Guilan, Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources of Gorgan, Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources of Sari, Noshirvani university of technology of Babol, Imam Khomeini (RA)Marine Sciences, Gonbad Kavos, Tarbiat Modares, Amir Kabir, Shahid Beheshti; problems of member universities in attracting students, centralization in policy-making, lack of practical training in maritime fields, lack of suitable labor market and insufficient support were discussed. The graduates of these fields and the need to attract academic elites in maritime fields were discussed and one of the important ways to overcome these problems identified as to pay attention to the movement towards the fourth generation of the university, i.e. the entrepreneurial university, through supporting the issue of development. Knowledge-based technologies and the development of incubation centers and science and technology parks were mentioned to create centers of attraction for university graduates. The Association of Coastal and Maritime Universities and Research Centers, celebrating the ingenious planning of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (Madazla Al-Ali) in communicating the general policies of sea-oriented development, evaluates its implementation as an important step in the realization of the strategy of the new Islamic civilization and announces the full readiness of the members to cooperate in the realization of these policies in the compilation of the comprehensive program. The members of the association, according to the axis contained in the general policies of sea-oriented development, which is "providing and promoting human capital and committed and efficient management, and creating scientific, educational and research support for sea-oriented development and marine innovation and technology ecosystem", which oversees the activities of the research institute and Universities which are members of this association, a series of measures including the implementation of operational research programs and continuous monitoring in the surrounding water basins, the launch of new marine courses and postgraduate and postdoctoral courses and the development of parks and growth centers in has set an agenda. The goal of this agenda is by "increasing production with the participation of the country's maritime community", to reach the share of marine-based knowledge production from the GDP at an acceptable level in the region and the world. The members of the Supreme Council of the Association declare their firm support for the decisive security measures of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the exercise of national sovereignty and respect the important action of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in carrying out the longest sea voyage in the history of Iran and circumnavigating the globe by the Iranian made destroyer Dana and IRIS Makran. To protect the name of the Persian Gulf, the members of the association, put the following activities on the members' agenda: conducting continuous scientific research, producing scientific documents and publishing them in prestigious scientific journals, enriching the data bank and oceanographic information of the Persian Gulf, and collect historical documents related to it as one of the main It defines its most important missions and considers supporting research related to the Persian Gulf as one of the central issues.
