Joint Degree Programs
In a joint degree program, sometimes called a dual degree program, the students spend the first half of their study at the home institution and the second half of it will be spent at the host institution conducting the research part of the program supervised by the faculty members of the both institutes. Upon successful completion of the program, both institutes will confer separate degrees on the candidate. Here is the list of Joint Degree Programs at the University of Guilan:
ENSAM University
University of Guilan has a joint program with ENSAM (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers) in France for the M. Sc. program in Engineering. Based on this agreement, students can study one year at the University of Guilan and one year at ENSAM, and after defending their thesis, they will receive a degree from both universities. Each academic year, 4 M.A. students can use this opportunity. Applicants will be selected by the respective department, and selection is based on the students' academic qualifications. Lomonosov Moscow State University
In order to develop academic and scientific cooperation among higher education institutes concerning the internationalization of education, an agreement was reached between Lomonosov Moscow State University and the University of Guilan. The students participating in this course receive two academic degrees from the two universities. This memorandum of understating is valid for 5 years
