The Enrollment Conditions for Foreign Applicants Seeking Continuing Study in the University of Guilan

(Non-Scholarship)

1- General Conditions

A-    Lack of legal prohibition from continuing study based on educational regulations.

B-     Obtain a confirmation issued by the embassy of I.R.Iran in the relevant country and/or Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

C-     Keeping the educational records in last levels, being confirmed by the competent authorities.

D-     Proficiency in Persian.

Note: Evaluating the proficiency level of the applicants in Persian Language will be carried out in two ways:

A-    The level of those applicants who passed their last educational levels in Iran will be accepted whatever it will be.

B-     The proficiency level of other foreign applicants who do not pass their educational courses in Iran must be confirmed by one of the Official National Persian Language Institutes and the end results must be announced.

2- Special Conditions

A-    Bachelor level

1- Those applicants who intend to continue their studies in this level shall be holders of diploma certificates (equivalent to secondary course of study in Iran) and pre-university certificate or its equivalent. Such certificates must be confirmed by the relevant authorities.

2- The minimum diploma average must be 12 and the minimum average of 4 topics related to applied field of study must be 12.

B-    Master level 

1- The applicants for the master program shall obtain a valid bachelor's degree that is confirmed by the competent authorities.

2- The minimum average in bachelor level is 12 and the minimum average of 6 topics related to applied field of study must be 13.

3- Present a declaration from the relevant educational department concerning the scientific status of the applicant based on his/her educational records.

C-    Doctorate Level

1- The applicants for  Doctorate program shall obtain a valid Master's degree that is confirmed by the competent authorities.

2- The minimum average for master program must be 14.

3- Obtain the agreement of educational department based on approved standards.

Deadline

The deadline for acceptance of documents and application at Bachelor and Master Program for the 1st semester of every academic year will be up to 21 June and for the second semester of academic year is 22 October.
